Creating Pathways
Volunteer or train in industry roles to help shape and diversify the arts sector. This programme gives members hands-on opportunities in the arts helping them gain real-world experience in the creative industries.
Part-time volunteer-
You will provide guidance and direction, helping shape our strategic priorities, artistic programming and environmental initiatives. Our Steering Group is made up of active members, ensuring that young people have a voice in how the organisation develops.

Play a key role in our live events - you’ll help produce and deliver parts of our events and showcases, with support and guidance, and be trusted to make decisions that shape the experience. You’ll also have opportunities to plan, shadow, and receive feedback.

A core part of our in-house publishing press No Disclaimers - you will be a editor on the process and help shape and deliver our anthologies, supported throughout the process and trusted to make decisions that influence the final publication.

You must be a Young Identity participant. Read the outline for your chosen role and fill out the registration form to register interest.

Free TrainingFacilitators
Participants can take part in our facilitator training, making them eligible to support our weekly workshops as paid freelancers.
You’ll receive hands-on training by shadowing lead facilitators, supporting lessons, receiving feedback and guidance every step of the way.
How To Apply
Our facilitator intake has now concluded. We’ll be announce the next round through our social media channels and directly with our email subscribers and registered participants.
Completing this training does not guarantee a facilitation role, but it makes you eligible to be considered for our pool of workshop facilitators.
Become a Trustee
Volunteer RoleOur Board of Trustees is made up of dedicated professionals who bring a breadth of knowledge, diverse perspectives, and valuable lived experience to the role. We are particularly seeking individuals with expertise in one or more of the following areas:

Finance & Accountancy
Human Resources
