Creation Through Form is Young Identity’s latest anthology, showcasing the work of both emerging and established poets from our collective and alumni network. The anthology features beautifully haunting work by illustrator Matthew Baines, poet alumnus of our collective.
This collection explores six poetic forms; Haiku, Loom, Cinquain, Tanka, Limerick and Sonnet, presented in both their traditional structures and modern variations, exploring themes of love, comedy, nature, identity, grief and social justice to spirituality, transformation, courage, and the human condition.

‘Between Two Islands’ is a multilingual poetry anthology showcasing the talent of the UK’s Bahraini community. Thirteen poets writing in English and Arabic explore diaspora, duality, resistance and yearning.
The English and Arabic poems communicate with each other and are accompanied by beautiful illustrations. It is the first anthology of its kind for the community.
