Our Creating Pathways programme gives Young Identity members hands-on opportunities in youth governance, event production, publishing and workshop facilitation, helping them gain real-world experience in the creative industries.

Free Training

Facilitators

Always wanted to be a facilitator? This is your chance! Participants can take part in our facilitator training, making them eligible to support our core weekly workshops as paid freelancers. You’ll receive hands-on training by shadowing lead facilitators, supporting lessons and getting personalised mentorship, feedback and guidance every step of the way.

How To Apply

To apply, you must be a current or past member of Young Identity. Read the Facilitator Application and email enquiries@youngidentity.org by Sunday 2nd November, midnight with a short description of:

  • Your interest in facilitation

  • Any relevant creative experience

  • How long you’ve been a participant and how it’s influenced your creative practice

Steering Group

As a Steering Group member, you will provide guidance and direction, helping shape our strategic priorities, artistic programming and environmental initiatives. Our Steering Group is made up of active members, ensuring that young people have a voice in how the organisation develops.

Young Producers play a key role in our live events. You’ll help produce and deliver parts of our events and showcases, with support and guidance, and be trusted to make decisions that shape the experience. You’ll also have opportunities to plan, shadow, and receive feedback..

Young Publishers are a core part of our in-house publishing press No Disclaimers. You will be a editor on the process and help shape and deliver our anthologies, supported throughout the process and trusted to make decisions that influence the final publication.

Interested in one of these roles? You must be a Young Identity member (aged 13-25). Read the outline for your chosen role and fill out the registration form before Sunday 2nd November, midnight to get involved.

Trustee role

Volunteer Role

We are always seeking new trustees to join our diverse board of professionals from fields like economics, law, psychology, education, counselling, arts production, community engagement and creative business development, bringing a wealth of expertise, perspectives and lived experiences.

Download and review our trustee pack and submit your CV along with a cover letter explaining your interest to enquiries@youngidentity.org. Alternatively, you can send a video (up to 2 minutes) in place of the letter. Successful applicants will be contacted for an interview.
